Dr. Harrington, a neuropsychologist, graduated with her Ph.D.
in Clinical
Psychology from the Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara,
California in
1991. She completed her internship and doctoral dissertation focused on
neuropsychology at Barrow Neurological Institute and Neuropsychology
Associates in Phoenix, Arizona.
After finishing her doctoral degree, she then completed post
doctoral training in Neuropsychology at Sharp Rehabilitation Hospital
in San Diego, where she also conducted research at the San Diego
Veteran's Hospital.
Dr. Harrington holds undergraduate and graduate degrees
from St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana, and the University of
Michigan.
Dr. Harrington is licensed in Arizona, Nevada, and
Indiana.
Dr. Harrington sees patients from the ages of two through geriatrics.
She
has particular interest in the areas of attentional and learning
disorders, Autism, Asperger's Disorder, atypical developmental delays,
seizures, traumatic brain injury, fetal alcohol syndrome, fetal
polysubstance abuse, strokes, multiple sclerosis, and dementias.
Dr. Harrington evaluates patients in a private practice
setting, and regularly is retained by attorneys in order to determine
the existence and extent of neuropsychological impairment in forensic
matters.
Dr. Harrington is a member of the National Academy of
Neuropsychology, the International Neuropsychological Society, and the
American Psychological Association.
